Greg Broermann, CEO, started Coastal Benefits Group in 2010. Greg has over 26 years of experience in the insurance industry. After working with some larger companies, he decided to start his own company concentrating on Medicare, Health Plans for individuals and small groups, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance.   As an independent broker he works with many companies to provide great choices to satisfy our clients’ needs. The company was formed to provide education, excellent service and build strong relationships.

Greg was raised in Norfolk and Virginia Beach and graduated from Princess Anne High School. After serving 4 years in the United States Air Force, he graduated from Old Dominion University in 1979. He met his wife in High School and today she is also his business partner. They have 2 adult sons, Eric, Jeff, daughter-in-law Sarah, and 7 grandsons. Greg is licensed in Health,Medicare plans and Life insurance. He is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriter (NAHU) and certified on the provisions of the Affordable Care Act. (ACA). Greg is licensed in Virginia.

Kitty Broermann is a Virginia licensed agent in Medicare, Health and Life insurance and joined Coastal Benefits Group in 2013 after retiring from 27 years as a Registered Nurse. She looks forward to the transition of providing patient care to working with clients to ensure they have access to the care they need and deserve.

Kitty was born in Norfolk, raised in Virginia Beach and graduated from Kempsville High School. Greg and Kitty lived in Madrid, Spain and Michigan while traveling with the Air Force. They moved to Asheville, North Carolina, where she graduated from Western Carolina University in 1987 with her BSRN. She worked at Memorial Mission Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Hubbard Plastic Surgery, and Sentara Home Health. Greg and Kitty now live in Chesapeake, Virginia. They enjoy traveling, beach time, playing golf and spending time with their family and grandsons. Kitty is looking forward to providing her clients with caring and compassionate service.
